Ace Parking Hosts New Balboa Park Free Tram System

Tram Ace Parking TeamCalifornia company, Ace Parking Management, Inc., a California corporation, is one of the largest parking companies in the country. Founded in 1950, it oversees over 450 locations from coast to coast from the headquarters in San Diego. Revenues have surpassed the $350 million mark and they provide parking services for 200,000 or more clients every day. Hosted by Ace Parking, the Balboa Park Free Tram System recently started for the city of San Diego, using the new Metro Tram vehicles.

The Metro Trams can shuttle up to 100 commuters in each tram. In addition, there are three separate power units that are enclosed and three Metro Trailers that can transport 16 and 28 passengers respectively.

“Ace Parking is honored to be the operator of the Balboa Park Tram System.  As a company based in San Diego, we are enthusiastic to relate our experiences and also serve as ambassadors to our city’s visitors and local residents as they visit the park,” says Keith Jones, Managing Principal and Partner.

Operating hours will vary depending upon the season. From May through October, they will run from 9AM to 8PM, seven days a week. October through April, they will run from 9AM to 6PM daily. Major tram stops will include the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Inspiration Point Parking lot, Tram Central, Palisades, Federal Building parking lot, and Plaza de Panama.
